We at
Peters Hunting Service have over 30 years
experience in the outfitting business. Our
operation is conducted on public
lands under special permit from the U.S.
Bureau of Land Management.
Rifle: Our main
method is walking, stalking, stand hunting and whatever
the hunter is capable of doing. We cater to both young and
old hunters. We don't guarantee that everyone will kill,
but everyone will see plenty of game. Our goal is to
produce and have fun.
Bow: Our bow
hunters
hunt from tree and ground stands in the early morning and
the late evening hours when the animals are the most
active - feeding and going to water. Our tree and ground
stands are located over wallows, springs, heavy game
trails and ponds. The range height of our stands is from
15 to 25 feet. Average shots are from a 15 to 30
yard range. Cow calling is excellent in stand hunting.
Guides
will be furnished (options): 1 guide - 2 hunters, 1 guide
- 3 hunters. Most of the time it will be 1 guide - 2
hunters (rifle) and 1 guide - 3 hunters (bow).
You can either process your own meat in camp or
take it to a local meat processing plant. For in-camp
processing, we have freezers and walk in coolers. |
